If you’re still curious about something, the answer is probably here.
Remodel Doula exists because every other professional in your remodel — your agent, your contractor, your architect, your engineer — is focused on their piece of the project. Nobody's sole job is to make sure all of those pieces are working in your interest… until now.
Think of it like having a friend who happens to know construction inside and out. Someone you can call before you sign anything, hire anyone, or commit to a single dollar, who will tell you the truth about what you're looking at, in plain language, with no agenda other than yours.
A project manager runs your project. They're on-site coordinating between trades, managing schedules, and taking responsibility for the outcome.
Remodel Doula comes in at the moments that matter most — before you make an offer, before you sign a contract, at key milestones during construction — and makes sure you have the knowledge and confidence to hold your team accountable.
You stay in the driver's seat. And with someone in your corner who's seen it all, you get to stay focused on what you actually came here for: the home you've been dreaming of.
It's not their primary role to fill, and most homeowners don't know to ask for it. Your contractor's job is to build. Your agent's job is to close the deal.
Remodel Doula closes the gaps and keeps the project collaborative rather than divided.
The Remodel Readiness Session starts at $700 and is the initial in-person appointment that typically lasts two hours. After this meeting, a handful of our clients feel they have everything they need to navigate next steps on their own — this is all they need to set their course.
If you'd like a glimpse into what your session could look like, take a look at the Client Wins.
Starting at $700 · ~2 hoursEvery project is different. A two-page estimate requires a different level of attention than a 50-page planset. Rather than charge a flat rate that over- or underserves your specific situation, we start with the Remodel Readiness Session and build from there based on what your project needs — and nothing it doesn't.
What we can tell you is that efficiency is a priority. Most clients are surprised by how much ground we cover in those first two hours.
A free 15-minute Clarity Call. We'll talk through where you are in the process and make sure we're the right fit for what's ahead. If it makes sense to work together, we'll talk about next steps.
Most people hang up knowing exactly what to do next.
Book your free Clarity Call →Most clients come in with a renovation idea, an estimate, a contract they're not sure about, or a set of plans they want a second pair of eyes on. Some come in with all of the above. Some come in with just a question they can't get a straight answer to anywhere else.
We spend roughly two hours going through it together — translating what needs translating, flagging what needs flagging, and giving you a clear picture of what your project involves and what to do next. You leave with answers.
In-person · Starting at $700No. Full project management means taking responsibility for running the entire construction process — and many projects already have a project manager through their architecture firm or general contractor.
What Remodel Doula offers is something different: making sure you, as the homeowner, are informed and educated throughout the remodel — enough to engage your team confidently and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

No. While Kirsten maintains her General Contractor license, Remodel Doula operates exclusively as a consultancy. She doesn't build — she makes sure you're protected before, during, and after the build.
Yes. Kirsten supports you in understanding your contractor and how to work with them most effectively.
She's spent 20 years working alongside contractors, architects, and engineers. She knows how to collaborate with your team while keeping your interests at the center of every conversation.
Kirsten doesn't recommend specific general contractors — staying independent of those relationships is part of how Remodel Doula remains completely on your side. She can, however, point you in the right direction for finding them. She has established relationships with architects, designers, and realtors that she can confidently recommend.
