Much like a birth doula supports expectant parents, a Remodel Doula helps homeowners navigate the often stressful and complex journey of home renovations. A Remodel Doula is there to make the remodeling process smoother, less stressful, and more successful for homeowners and their design/build team.

During a two hour initial walkthrough we will talk through the permitting/construction processes and assess the infrastructure of your building, including plumbing and electrical. We will verbally provide realistic ballpark estimates for the projects that you are considering. If you have any schematic drawings or plans for your project please have them onsite for review. Our clients find that this two hour initial walkthrough is invaluable at providing clear foresight as they embark on their remodel journey.
Our fee for this service is $350 per hour for a minimum two hour appointment, with additional time billed in 15-minute increments. This meeting usually costs between $700-$1000. This investment saves our clients thousands of dollars as they embark on their remodel journey, armed with practical information. Many find this initial consultation sufficient in setting them on course with invaluable information to make confident, informed decisions and our work is complete.
Some of our clients also find it helpful to retain Remodel Doula to stand by their side during the construction process. The client often utilizes this time with Kirsten as a touchstone, to check in and stay on track and foster communication with their remodel team. However we always begin with a minimum, two hour initial walkthrough consultation.

We understand that these numbers may seem high for an hourly rate. Working with us you'll find that efficiency is a top priority and that as an hourly touchstone, consultation fee, the value and return on investment saves our clients thousands of dollars. -

However, her primary focus on construction has prevented her from fully engaging in a consultative advocacy role. Not exactly; while our services help to streamline your project management, we are not offering full scale project management at this time. Think of our services like coaching rather than management.

While Kirsten continues to maintain a state contractors license, Remodel Doula does not operate under her license as a construction company and we do not perform building related tasks.
